Weihenstephan Triesdorf University of Applied Science

Climate Change Management
Subjects: Climate Science;Environment;Sustainability
M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
Climate change is a major challenge for life on Earth. Both nature and humans are feeling the pressure. The evidence is clear and alarming, and the impacts are everywhere. While our scientific understanding of climate change is growing, managing it remains complex. We need interdisciplinary knowledge to create effective strategies for land use and nature conservation. The Master Climate Change Management (MCC) program focuses on solutions for climate change mitigation and adaptation, from farms to landscapes. This global struggle to meet the 1.5-degree target of the Paris Climate Agreement requires international cooperation. The MCC program reflects this by welcoming students from four continents and offering courses in English. Study subjects in this program include climate change mitigation, adaptation strategies, land use, and nature conservation management. The goal is to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to tackle climate change effectively. The program fosters an inclusive and understanding environment, ensuring that students from diverse backgrounds can contribute to this critical global effort.
