Course description
The Master of Arts in International Security Studies (MISS) is a distinctive post-graduate program tailored for security professionals. This one-year course is a collaboration between the University of the Bundeswehr Munich (UniBwM) and the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies (GCMC). It aims to equip international military and civilian students, who already have some professional experience, for leadership roles in both public and private sectors. MISS participants gain from the unique strengths of both institutions. The program blends academic modules taught by UniBwM professors and selected international faculty with the policy-focused programs of the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. This German-American defense institution allows students to study alongside government officials from 110 countries. The curriculum offers a comprehensive understanding of international security. It also connects students to a global network of over 10,000 security professionals. This network and the knowledge gained from the program prepare students for executive positions, enhancing their careers in meaningful ways.
