Course description
If your career goal is to teach at grammar schools and comprehensive schools, you can instruct students from grades 5 to 12 or 13. To achieve this, you will start with a two-subject Bachelor's degree (ZFB) at Münster University of Münster. After completing your Bachelor's, you will pursue a Master of Education for Teaching at Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools. The ZFB program includes your two chosen subjects along with educational sciences. During your Bachelor's studies, you will engage in two practical phases. The first is an aptitude and orientation internship at a school, lasting at least 25 days. The second is a professional internship of at least four weeks, typically outside of a school setting. If you are studying a modern foreign language, a three-month stay abroad is mandatory. This structured path ensures you gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, preparing you to excel in teaching at grammar and comprehensive schools.
