Sustainable Management
Subjects: Sustainability
M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
Man-made climate change and increasing environmental degradation are clear indicators: An economy that ignores its natural boundaries cannot sustain itself. This is why sustainable development in both the economy and society is becoming increasingly crucial. The challenge lies in integrating economic, legal, and social science expertise with engineering and natural science knowledge to create sustainable solutions. Master's students in the Sustainable Management program gain in-depth knowledge of economics. They learn to contribute to sustainable changes in the economy and society. This involves connecting technical and scientific issues with various social systems, such as companies, politics, and society, to develop solutions from a comprehensive perspective. The Master's program in Sustainable Management spans four semesters. To be admitted, you need a bachelor's degree in economics, an equivalent degree, or a university degree in a non-scientific field with a focus on sustainability and at least 60 credits in basic economics. Proficiency in English is also required. This program equips students with the skills to address the pressing need for sustainable development, ensuring they can make meaningful contributions to a more sustainable future.
