Course description

The master’s degree program in Water Science and Engineering provides a comprehensive, interdisciplinary education at the intersection of water-related engineering and natural sciences. This program equips graduates with the skills to independently devise strategies and technical solutions for sustainable water resource management. Their work navigates the challenges of efficiently using limited water resources, meeting increasing demands for protection, managing hydrometeorological extreme events, and addressing the impacts of global change on the water cycle and related material cycles. In the Advanced Fundamentals course, students delve into advanced principles of water-related engineering and natural sciences. They also participate in lecture series focused on environmental system modeling. This scientific education is further enriched by a deep understanding of cross-sectional methods and competencies.
