Course description

Natural disasters, climate change, raw material shortages, and disturbed ecosystems present global challenges in protecting our environment and resources. The "Resources and Environment" specialization in the master’s degree program in Environmental Engineering addresses these issues with forward-thinking scientific and technical solutions. It emphasizes the sustainable use of finite resources within an international framework. This specialization is available entirely in English. "Resources and Environment" combines essential content from civil and environmental engineering, geodesy, mechanical engineering, and environmental and landscape planning. You can tailor your studies with a choice of specialization, an optional stay abroad, a practical project, and topics like green entrepreneurship. These elements prepare you for diverse career paths in the global job market. An appealing option is the double degree program with Tsinghua University in China. By earning a second master’s degree, you gain additional expertise, insight into Chinese academia and work culture, and develop intercultural skills. This program helps you build valuable contacts and enhances your professional qualifications.
