Applicants whose first language is not English must provide proof of proficiency in English (i.e. TOEFL or equivalent language certificate) Required TOEFL Scores are: - 550 Points in the paper-based test --220 Points in the computer based test --80 points in the internet based test Required IELTS Scores - 6,0 minimum The language test certificate should not be more than 2 years old at the time of application. Students with a one year study or working experience in an English speaking country within the last five years do not need the proof of English proficiency.
Qualification Requirements
For admission a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural sciences, biology or a related discipline following at least 6 semesters of University studies is required. Admission is mainly based on the student’s grade point average, which should be 2.5 (German system, equivalent to a B-) or better. Educational background, relevant professional experience, additional professional qualifications and motivationmay also be considered in the selection process.
