Qualification Requirements
The Master of Arts in European Studies has the following application prerequisites: A first academic degree (such as a bachelor’s, Magister, Diplom, Staatsexamen) from a university in Germany or abroad based on at least three years of study corresponding to at least 180 credit points (CP) in a subject relevant to the Master of Arts program in European Studies, or a relevant combination of subjects from the humanities and social sciences, law and economics, and proof that the applicant graduated in the top third of graduates. Proof of having met the language requirements set forth in the statutes on proof of foreign language skills or of a practical activity (Study Qualification Statutes of the Europa-Universität Flensburg. Proof of at least 15 credit points (CP) in statistics or social science methods. Applicants are permitted to take part in the selection procedure if they are missing up to a total of 5 credit points. If admitted, the admissions committee will decide on the type and scope of any courses to be made up, and the deadline by which they must be completed.
