Subjects: Materials Science
M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
The M.Sc. Materials Science degree program is taught in English. This course zeroes in on functional materials, including energy materials, magnetic materials, and electronic materials, along with their synthesis and characterization. Theoretical materials science lectures cover quantum mechanics, non-equilibrium thermodynamics, and continuum mechanics. Today, there's a huge demand for various materials across nearly all economic sectors. Developing efficient, resource-saving materials is becoming crucial, especially with the growing global shortages of raw materials and energy. Graduates find jobs in materials development, materials technology (like new manufacturing and processing methods), application technology, materials testing/quality control, and failure analysis. They work in industries such as automotive, chemical, semiconductor, healthcare, and energy. Additionally, they find roles in administration or insurance companies. This program equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to meet the challenges of modern materials science, ensuring they are well-prepared for a dynamic and evolving job market.
