Course description

The International Technology Transfer Management (ITTM) program is crafted for engineering students aiming to step into management roles. This two-year Master's course equips graduates with a solid grasp of management responsibilities and processes, preparing them to work in global companies right after graduation. Students gain from the rich academic and hands-on experience of the lecturers. The program also offers numerous collaboration opportunities with German partner firms. Through project-based learning, students tackle real-life projects provided by local businesses, ensuring the ITTM program remains practically relevant from the start. In the third semester, students must complete a compulsory internship. If they can't secure an internship, the university offers optional intensive training programs with EU partner firms and institutes. Additionally, the university can assist in arranging EU-wide internships through Erasmus+ in certain cases. This program is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of management duties, combining academic knowledge with practical experience, and fostering strong industry connections.

Qualification Requirements

A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) of at least six semesters at a university (or equivalent institution), a technical college in Germany, or an equivalent institution abroad with a minimum grade: "Satisfactory" is required for acceptance into the ITTM Master's Programme. Good English language skills that correspond to Level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages are required for the course.
