Mechanics | Project Engineering
Subjects: Mechanics;Machine Engineering;Project Engineering
B.Eng. | Bachelor of Engineering
Course description
In the initial three semesters of the basic course, students grasp the fundamentals of mechanical engineering. Following this, the main course allows them to broaden their expertise in both engineering and business management. They also delve deeper into their chosen fields through elective subjects. The fifth semester is dedicated to an internship: international students work with a partner company in Germany, while German students gain experience in non-German-speaking countries. Typically, the bachelor's thesis is also completed in collaboration with a partner company, mirroring the internship locations. During the first four semesters, all mandatory lectures are conducted in English, except for "Introduction to Production Technology," which is taught bilingually in German and English, and "German as a Foreign Language Level B2." Students develop their German language skills throughout their time at RWU. By the sixth semester, German becomes the primary language of instruction.
