Course description
The course opens the doors to the world for you. The program combines languages, economics, and intercultural communication in one comprehensive course. You can choose to focus on either Chinese or Ibero-Roman language and culture. Alongside excellent training in the common and business language of your chosen field of study, as well as English, you will gain extensive knowledge of economics and intercultural communication skills. You will develop key qualifications such as interdisciplinary thinking, teamwork, cooperation, and a respectful attitude towards the values and norms of other cultures. A standout feature of the LBA course is the integrated year abroad. You will spend a semester at a partner university in China, Spain, Latin America, or Portugal, followed by a company internship in the target country. Starting from the winter semester of 2023/24, you can enroll in the Business Communication German major at level A2 German. In your first year, you will attend specialist seminars in English and rapidly improve your German skills through intensive language training. In addition to excellent training in the common and business languages of German and English, you will acquire extensive knowledge of economics and intercultural skills.
