These include labor markets, inequality, human behavior, economic growth, and environmental and climate concerns. You'll explore economic policy tools used in these areas. You'll also study climate, environmental, and urban economics, as well as behavioral and entrepreneurial economics, and growth and distribution. This program equips you with the expertise and skills needed for economic analysis of policy instruments, crucial for evidence-based policymaking. We emphasize both theoretical economics and quantitative empirical analysis methods. These methods apply to economic policy issues at local, regional, national, and international levels. Most courses include practical units where you'll learn to use econometric and statistical software like Stata, R, Matlab, Dynare, and Julia. You'll perform empirical analyses and apply numerical methods. You'll work with real data sets, such as the Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP), and conduct independent analyses. Mastering these tools will enable you to write master's theses with real quantitative research results. The program also includes an internship module, allowing you to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience in economic
