Osnabrück
European Governance: Market Power Community
Subjects: Governance;Economics
M.A. | Master of Arts
Course description
The social science master's degree focuses on teaching the normative and theoretical foundations of European integration and analyzing the development of the European Union (EU). The course begins with basic modules that explain how the market, power, and community serve as orientation points in both analytical-descriptive studies and political-normative concepts. This approach helps students gain a better understanding of governance in Europe. In the qualification area, students can deepen and expand their practical professional and research skills. They can further specialize through a freely selectable, cross-curricular course offering of 30 credits. Both professional and technical skills can be acquired during an integrated stay abroad. The mandatory research seminar offers the chance to carry out smaller research projects, preparing students for their master's thesis.
