Course description

Building on the foundational professional degree, the master's program in computer science offers deep specialist knowledge and equips students to tackle complex IT problems using scientific methods and findings. This program allows for individual specialization through a vast array of elective courses. Qualification Requirements

The prerequisite for access to the master's program in “Informatics” is that the applicant a) has acquired a bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree in the "Informatics" course of study or in another professionally suitable course of study either at a German university or at a university that belongs to one of the Bologna signatory states, or b) an equivalent degree in a subject from another foreign university has acquired suitable previous studies; the equivalence will be determined according to the requirements the evaluation proposals from the Central Office for Foreign Education at the Secretariat the Conference of Ministers of Education established that as well as c) provides evidence of the requirements in accordance with paragraphs 3 to 5
