The 4-semester Digital Media master’s program, conducted in English, is a collaborative effort between the University of the Arts Bremen (Hochschule für Künste, or HfK) and the University of Bremen (Universität Bremen, or UNI). This program merges theory with technology, art with science, and design with informatics. Students from both universities are encouraged to explore courses beyond their primary focus, fostering a rich, interdisciplinary learning environment. At HfK, the course of study is called Media Design, culminating in a Master of Arts (M.A) degree. Meanwhile, at UNI, the program is known as Media Informatics, leading to a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree.
