Course description

Microelectronics has sparked massive growth in information and communication technologies. It's also become crucial in many other fields. Recently, technologies first developed for microelectronics are now used to create miniaturized systems in electromechanical, electro-optical, analytical, and biomedical applications. This emerging field is known as microsystem technology. Looking ahead, we can expect microsystem components to integrate with microelectronic devices. To meet this challenge, the TUHH has launched an innovative master’s program in microelectronics and microsystems. This program blends both fields seamlessly. It includes various required elective courses in communication, computer science, and signal processing. This program is designed to equip students with the skills needed to excel in these rapidly evolving areas. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications, it prepares graduates to lead in the development of advanced technologies. The curriculum is comprehensive, covering essential subjects that ensure a well-rounded education in both microelectronics and microsystems.
