Course description
In the B.Sc. Web Development programme, you will learn to conceptualize, design, and develop real digital products and services. The curriculum covers interaction design, UX design, usability engineering, scripting languages, business informatics, and social media. You'll also delve into hardware programming, communication strategy, and agile project management. These modules enable you to create digital experiences, online platforms, hardware projects, virtual spaces, and games. The focus is on sustainable projects that make a lasting impact on society, collaborating with large companies, NGOs, institutes, universities, or start-ups. You will learn to coordinate real projects, work in teams with content experts, communication designers, and marketing experts, advise clients, derive concepts from ideas, and finally design and implement them technically. During your studies, you will work on assignments for clients worldwide, preparing you for a professional career. If you have previous experience, such as being a trained media designer, having previous university studies, or working as a freelance web developer or designer, you can switch to the dual programme. Qualification Requirements
General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or university of applied sciences entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife). In case you have not graduated yet, please apply with your existing transcripts or your latest interim certificate. However, we need your final degree certificate before you can start your studies. Please note that applicants with foreign degrees might be eligible for direct entry. This means that applicants who meet the requirements DON'T need to do a foundation year before starting their Bachelor's. CV Proof of English language proficiency Copy of your identity card or passport You will need a partner company before you start your studies - we are happy to assist you in finding one. If you are unable to find a partner company before the 1st semester, you can also always start in the full-time programme and switch to the dual programme later.
