Course description

The MSc Polymer Materials Science is an interdisciplinary, international, and consecutive master’s programme. It is a collaboration between Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and the University of Applied Sciences Merseburg. Today, polymer research thrives on multidisciplinary efforts among physicists, chemists, and engineers. They aim to discover new ways of making, characterizing, processing, and understanding the molecular basis of innovative functional materials. By enrolling in this master’s programme, you will receive a comprehensive education in one of the key industrial growth sectors. The research-oriented curriculum offers specializations in polymer-synthetic or polymer-physical and engineering. This equips our graduates with the skills needed for roles in chemical industry production and prepares them for advanced PhD-level training.
