Mobility Systems Engineering & Management (MSEM)
Subjects: Mobility Systems;Engineering;Management
M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
Automotive companies worldwide are pushing the envelope to create adaptable new technologies and components that enhance our mobility. Environmentally-friendly mobile technologies, such as electric and hybrid vehicles, increasingly depend on embedded electronic systems to boost their efficiency and cut down on carbon emissions. The growing customer demand for safer and more economical products is driving the industry to innovate and rethink design and development strategies. Future-forward technologies, like advanced driver assistance systems, hinge on the implementation of always-on, real-time, wireless device communications. Technological components, including microcontrollers, sensors, and communication busses, are readily available at low costs. Once tailored to meet a vehicle’s specifications, these components unlock new possibilities in utility and performance by leveraging the vast amounts of data captured within the vehicle. New topological concepts, such as client-server communication, are grounded in these model-based and process-oriented system design methods. This approach allows for a more efficient and effective integration of new technologies, ensuring that vehicles are not only more capable but also more sustainable.
