M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
From a human rights perspective, human life encompasses more than just health, though it certainly includes it. This master profile will explore whether wellbeing can exist without health or if wellbeing is essential for health. We will delve into various methods for achieving wellness through movement, nutrition, and related activities, examining their philosophical foundations. Wellbeing and the methods to achieve it vary across cultures. Our program will cover Western approaches as well as traditional Chinese and Indian practices. Specifically, students will study Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, spending time at our partner universities in China and India. Another key aim of this master program is to study contemporary scientific methods rooted in Western science. These methods will be taught both theoretically and practically for accurate measurement and diagnosis based on psychophysiological variables. Students will learn to measure brain states through electro-magnetic and haemodynamic activity, assess heart rate variability, monitor changes in skin resistance, analyze variations in the infrared spectrum, and observe changes in gas discharge. These techniques will provide precise diagnostics related to wellness. This program is designed to foster an inclusive and understanding environment, ensuring clarity and trust in all communications. We aim to equip students with the highest level of topical authority in the field of wellness.
