European Studies
Subjects: European Studies
M.A. | Master of Arts
Course description
Our European Master is a unique, 4-semester, trinational program offering comprehensive training in European Studies across three key EU countries. The journey begins for all students in Opole, Poland, during the first semester. The second semester takes place in Mainz, Germany, followed by the third semester in Dijon, France. The fourth semester, dedicated to internships, the master's thesis, and final exams, is typically completed at the student's home university. Graduates earn national degrees from all three partner universities, reflecting their diverse and rich educational experience. The program specializes in various subjects: culture and society in Opole, European politics and integration in Mainz, and European law in Dijon. This structure allows up to 30 students each year to immerse themselves in different European cultures, fostering a deep understanding of European living. Language skills are a crucial part of the curriculum. Courses are taught in English in Opole, in both German and English in Mainz, and in French in Dijon. Additionally, students take language courses in Polish, German, and French during the first three semesters. Bilingual students have the option to study another European language. This program not only equips students with specialized knowledge but also provides practical language skills and invaluable cultural experiences. It
