You have to prove your English skills by Providing evidence of your high level of proficiency in English equivalent to at least: TOEFL paper-based version 550, or TOEFL computer-based version 213, or TOEFL internet-based version 79 (TOEFL code for Heilbronn University 2751), or IELTS minimum 6.0, or Cambridge Certificate CAE minimum C, or AACSB English B2 Ability Test minimum approved Oxford Test of English (>= 120 points and B2 in all modules)
Qualification Requirements
The Master in Software Engineering is feasible for you, if: you own a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely-related field, or you own a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in another field, and can submit proof of academic and/or vocational experience in computer science gained over a period of at least three years. Please note: the admission process will be based on the first degree/BA degree. Master degrees will not be taken into consideration. Applicants with a first degree from a non-German institute must prove, before applying to Heilbronn University, that their Bachelor’s degree is equivalent to a German first degree. This means they have to apply twice – once at the Studienkolleg Konstanz and once at our university. In order to have the qualifications validated, please contact the Studienkolleg – Center for International Students in Konstanz. The Center for International Students will assess their Bachelor's degree and decide if it meets the requirements for entering a Master's degree program in Germany. All relevant information you may find on the website of the Center for International Students.
