The Master's programme in "Atlantic Studies" stands out as the only one in Germany where students can choose to explore the social, cultural, political, and economic relationships in the South Atlantic. They can do this from either a historical perspective or an interdisciplinary approach within the humanities and social sciences. This programme delves into the connections between the four continents surrounding the Atlantic, considering both historical and contemporary globalization and migration processes.
