Perhaps European citizenship, the European Championships, or the Eurovision Song Contest pop into your head. Maybe you think of the Euro and the Single Market. Europe holds different meanings for different people. This diversity stems from the varied perspectives and interests of actors from different sectors and continents. In the Euroculture program, we focus on mapping, understanding, and connecting these diverse views on Europe. Our study subjects delve into the complexities of European identity, politics, and culture. We explore how Europe is perceived and defined by different groups. By examining these perspectives, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of what Europe represents to various people. In Euroculture, we don't just study Europe; we engage with it. We look at how European citizenship shapes individual identities and how events like the European Championships and the Eurovision Song Contest influence cultural unity. We analyze the impact of the Euro and the Single Market on economic integration. Through our program, we aim to build bridges between different interpretations of Europe.
