Nautical Science & Maritime Traffic
Subjects: Nautical Science;Maritime Traffic
B.Sc. | Bachelor of Science
Course description
In maritime shipping, addressing environmental, engineering, logistics, and safety concerns is crucial. Our new "Center for Modeling & Simulation" enables us to accurately replicate nautical and logistical challenges, corporate and ship-based operations, and processes in shipbuilding, environmental, and material sciences. We have established new simulation facilities for offshore installations, liquid cargo, and engine rooms, tailored specifically for Nautical Science students. This ensures they are well-prepared for any situation and type of load. Our close-knit community allows for open questions and problems to be addressed with close supervision. The annual training voyage on a schooner and the practical training semester at sea form the hands-on part of the course, expanding our students' nautical knowledge. The comprehensive foundation provided by our program prepares students primarily for work at sea, but also equips them to handle various tasks on land.
