Subjects: Anthropology;Sociology;Culture;Social Sciences
M.A. | Master of Arts
Course description
Our program offers a deep dive into the social and cultural variations across the globe. It equips students with the knowledge to understand the commonalities in social systems and human relationships. The courses are designed to explore the interconnectedness of various societal aspects, covering a broad spectrum of topics such as religion, migration and integration, economic and political organization, health and illness, ritual and performance, violence and memory, patterns of exchange, kinship and solidarity, and socio-cultural diversity. In the third semester, students have the opportunity to either engage in a research project or gain practical experience through internships. These internships can be with NGOs, schools, museums, or other organizations. The core principle of this program is to develop the ability to critically analyze and reflect on the dynamics and specificities of societies and cultures within a global context. By the end of the program, students will have a comprehensive understanding of the intricate relationships that shape societies. This knowledge prepares them to contribute thoughtfully and effectively in various professional and academic settings.
