Nanoelectronic Systems
Subjects: Nanoelectronic Systems
M.Sc. | Master of Science
Course description
Progressive miniaturization in microelectronics is pushing the boundaries, leading to systems that should be called nanoelectronic systems. These systems have a vast array of potential applications, but their design and implementation are becoming more complex. This complexity inspired the creation of the Master's degree course "Nanoelectronic Systems." This course zeroes in on three main areas: - Technologies for Nanoelectronic Systems - Design of Nanoelectronic Systems - Applications of Nanoelectronic Systems The course also considers the interrelationships and dependencies between these key areas. Resource efficiency is a crucial topic across all three specializations. The curriculum addresses not only traditional scaling, known as "More Moore," but also explores concepts for "More than Moore" and "Beyond Moore." In this program, students delve into the intricate technologies that make nanoelectronic systems possible. They learn to design these systems, understanding the nuances and challenges involved. They also explore the diverse applications of nanoelectronic systems, seeing firsthand how these tiny marvels can be used in various fields. The course is designed to be comprehensive, ensuring that students grasp the full scope of nanoelectronics. It emphasizes practical knowledge and real-world applications, preparing students to tackle the complexities of this advanced field
